All solo medical doctors who provide this level of service have stopped accepting insurance due to diminishing reimbursements by insurances. I have intentionally chosen to continue accepting insurance in order to remain accessible to all patients. My remaining colleagues have been forced to join large group practices that are managed by hospital corporations. Patients in group practices are seen by mid-level providers such as physician assistants or are put in a rotating assembly line with multiple doctors for quick impersonal checkups without any focus on holistic health. To that end, these group practices result in patients treated more like a number, with minimal personal care and attention. Direct access to your physician via email, phone calls outside of your appointment and personal compassionate care is not an option when you are a patient of a hospital owned or group practice where physicians lose all personal connection to their patients.

I do not wish to compromise my practice or to limit my practice by dropping insurances, as many of my colleagues have, as my availability to you would greatly diminish. However, in order to maintain the concierge style care I provide, change is necessary.
All gynecology patients will have an administrative fee of $360 for 12 months of care. This fee is due at the time of your first visit and is not refundable.
If a patient is paying out of pocket and not using insurance this fee will not apply.
If a patient is seeing Dr Amersi for an annual well woman examination and no other appointments the fee is $180 for the year. If you will see her for more than one appt the remaining balance will be due at the 2nd appt.
If this is your first time meeting Dr Amersi you have the option of paying $180 and then the remaining balance will be collected at your next visit.
If you wish to cancel your appt please email us ASAP with your name, appointment date and time as we have a long wait list of patients wishing to establish care with Dr Amersi. You will be charged a cancellation fee of $125 if you do not cancel within 48 business hours of your appt.
If you are pregnant please let us know at the time of your first appointment as we have a different policy for our pregnant patients.
We understand that this fee may be a burden for some families and will be sad to see anyone leave, but we love caring for you and your family and refuse to compromise your care or experience due to cost constraints imposed by insurance companies.

-processing your health care through insurance and paying an outside biller a percentage of what we collect
- after hours emergency access 24/7/365 to Dr Amersi including emails access for less urgent questions or concerns.
-email communication with the office
-text communication with the office via our website
-personalized interpretation and treatment plan for all results by Dr. Amersi - Pap smears hormones, cultures, blood, imaging, mammograms, MRIs, genetic testing
-reviewing and interpreting all cancer prevention testing
-reviewing outside medical records
- collaborating, coordinating and creating your medical team- with endocrinologists, breast surgeons, genetic counselors, infertility specialists, mental health therapists, physical therapist, primary care physicians, acupuncturists, compounding concierge pharmacists, oncologists, pelvic floor therapy as indicated
-creating a personalized plan of bio identical hormones, supplements
-direct access to your doctor instead of having to google your symptoms
-same day emergency appointments with the doctor or nurses
-processing prescription requests at time of your appointment
-formulation of bio-identical hormones with compounding pharmacies
-same doctor for each appointment without any midlevels to provide continuity of care
-telephone consultation and coordination of your care with other treating physicians and providers
-providing your medical insurance with all paperwork, chart copies for processing your claims through insurance
-the fee also covers daily deep medical sterilization of all equipment to maintain our facility in accordance with safety standards for protection against Covid-19
